Admission results for Bachelor's Program in Swedish now published
In the joint application process, admission to the Swedish-language bachelor’s program is based either on the Finnish matriculation examination results (70%) or on the entrance exam (30%). Additionally, 80% of the study places are reserved for first-time applicants. A total of 250 study places are offered in this year’s admissions.
Furthermore, for the fifth time, Hanken has admitted a group of students through a separate admission process based on the Swedish Högskoleprovet (SweSAT) and upper secondary school certificates completed in Sweden —23 people were admitted. This year, students were also admitted via the Open University both through the Snabbleden (Fast Track module) and based on studies at the Open University, totaling 63 people.
Were you admitted to Hanken in 2025?
Congratulations on your study place! We will start the academic year with joint introduction days at Hanken at the end of August. Read more about starting your studies and everything you need to know on the webpage for new students.
Are you on the waiting list?
You can follow your admission results electronically in the My Studyinfo service. If you are on the waiting list, you may still be admitted until August 5, 2025, at 15:00. Keep a close eye on your email and check your spam folder!
Didn’t get a study place?
Take a look at our Snabbleden (Fast Track module), where you can complete basic courses in economic sciences in Swedish, totaling 26 credits, during one academic year via the Open University. If you achieve an average grade of 4/5 in the Snabbleden (Fast Track module) courses and meet Hanken’s Swedish language requirements, you may be offered a study place the following autumn. Read more about the Snabbleden (Fast Track module) on Hanken’s website and aim for bachelor’s studies in Swedish in economics in autumn 2025!
Applicants who participated in Entrance Exam F can view their exam scores in the Vallus entrance exam score service starting July 3 at 12:00.
