When Hanken alum Marcus Räder realised that companies renting out holiday properties lacked the right technology, he sensed a business opportunity. Together with two co-founders, he created Hostaway, which has since grown into a billion-euro company with operations around the world.

Heli Rantavuo appointed professor of practice at Hanken

Heli Rantavuo has been appointed professor of practice in marketing at Hanken School of Economics from 1 August 2026 for a two-year term. Rantavuo holds a Doctor of Arts degree from Aalto University and is an expert in market growth and product development.
