My research focuses on the digital transformation of knowledge work, including remote work as well as artificial intelligence, and more generally technology-mediated collaborative environments. I study how technologies, workspaces and humans shape workplace relationships, collaboration, well-being and the everyday work experiences of individuals and teams. Using primarily qualitative methods, I am particularly interested in understanding the social and organizing consequences of technological change and what these developments mean for the future of work.
I have a multi-disciplinary background in technology and user-centered design (M.Sc. from Aalto University) and a doctoral degree in organisation, leadership and work psychology (PhD from Aalto University).
My passion is in mixing science with practice - by giving scientific findings meaning and value for companies and society.
