On behalf of the Nordic collaboration network NordForum, it is my pleasure to extend an invitation to our NordForum seminar “Free Flow of Information in Education”, September 20-21, 2017. At this event we will discuss exciting, current topics relating to free flow of Information and gain synergies and new insights by benchmarking with our Nordic neighbours. The event will include a keynote titled around the topic of free flow of data as the 5th basic freedom in European Community, to be given by Kaspar Kala, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications in Estonia and a keynote about digitalization by Julie Anderson, European Commission. The seminar will also discuss the EU-GDPR as a key topic.
We will also take this opportunity to celebrate NordForum’s 10th anniversary, and use it to envision what NordForum cooperation could hold in the future.
Additional information about the event, together with details about the programme will be published by the end of May at the event website www.hanken.fi/nordforum. The event will be run in partnership with the participating countries and is hosted by Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki.
The seminar is for decision makers within services for education interested in Nordic collaboration, especially Vice Rectors, Heads of IRO, Heads of Student Affairs, CIOs etc.
The program is planned to take place from around noon 20 September till noon 21 September.
