Since 2017 Hanken's best practice for diversity and inclusion is its Hanken International programme, the programme went from initiative to become a permanent practice matching students to employers, leading to jobs and increased recruitment and retention in Finland. Yet the buy-in from companies and public organisations has been slow.
This workshop will focus on what makes university programs effective and how to put emphasis on diversity, equity and inclusion as well as how it addresses organisational needs to talent recruitment and retention even during pandemic’s new normal.
Through storytelling, evidence, and discussions we will touch upon our own motivation for change and embracing workforce diversity, cross-sectoral cooperation for building back better.
