Camilla and John Lindfors invest EUR 250 000 in Hanken

The fundraising campaign will continue until 30.6.2017 and has, with this donation included, so far raised close to EUR 4.2 million.

Hanken alumni Camilla and John Lindfors have donated EUR 250 000 to Hanken’s fundraising campaign HANKEN RETURNS.

“Securing a strong university level education in business and economics in Swedish in Finland is imperative. Both my wife and I are beneficiaries of a great education at Hanken and we want to make sure others get the same chance. The best way to ensure Finland’s future competitiveness is to invest in education, especially in an area that will have a direct impact on the economy over time”, says John Lindfors.

“This is the biggest private donation to the campaign so far and we are very grateful for it. It is fantastic that our alumni want to be involved in Hanken’s future”, says Rector Karen Spens.

The fundraising campaign HANKEN RETURNS will continue until 30.6.2017 and has, with this donation included, so far raised close to EUR 4.2 million. The aim of the campaign is to secure Hanken’s unique position as Finland’s only independent business school.
