The specialisation in Business and Management gives you the essential capabilities and skills for managing and developing organisations in a market-oriented and sustainable manner.
Upon graduation you will be able to:
• Manage organisations in a customer- and market-oriented way
• Participate in strategy work and leadership in various organisations
• Engage in constructive dialogue on corporate sustainability questions
• Apply independent and critical thinking to decision-making

You have the opportunity to choose from four tracks with some common courses and elements and several electives that offer flexibility within the studies:

Student activities
Students have full access to activities at Hanken, including its active student life and various events (link). Activities are also arranged within the specialisation itself. Particularly during the first weeks and months of the specialisation, time is dedicated to extracurricular activities that enable the participants to bond with each other, the specialisation faculty, and the broader Hanken community. We encourage you to gain international experience! A semester abroad at one of Hanken’s partner universities can be incorporated into the programme as an optional component if the planning for it already starts during the fall of the first academic year. Or why not an internship abroad, or in Finland?
