Unique week on Sustainable Development Goals at Hanken

The strategy at Hanken aims at educating responsible professionals and integrating sustainability in everything we are doing. To this end, Hanken is organising a unique week on the UN Sustainable Development Goals 13-21.11.2018.

The world is facing many sustainability challenges, from environmental degradation to increasing inequalities.

“We want to be a front-runner in finding innovative and collective solutions to the world’s complexities! It is ambitious and it requires actions from all of us” explains Rector Karen Spens.

The week was kicked-off on Tuesday with the Responsible Organising conference #2, wherein varied sustainability topics from sustainable finance to rights and need

Among others, clothes donation day, seminars and breakfast about how to reduce our use of chemical and plastic wastes, how to make our workplace more sustainable, how to become a more compassionate version of ourselves, are organised.
