Exchange students rate Hanken highly

Hanken scores very well in the latest exchange student survey among students that visited Hanken during spring 2018. All of the 54 respondents would recommend Hanken as host university for exchange studies, which is an exceptional score.

The large majority of the students were satisfied with the course offer, and the results for teaching had improved substantially. The students were also very satisfied with their own learning and the assessment methods.

The services of both the International Office and the Library scored high. The Student Union received credit for their work to integrate the exchange students.

The survey also pinpointed development areas. Housing seems to continue to be a challenge as students are dissatisfied with both the price level and the distance to Hanken from their apartments. The recently introduced Buddy-system, offering a personal buddy to guide the exchange student, was well received but needs to be developed further.

This term 54 out of 84 exchange students replied to the survey (64%), which is a great result. The exchange student survey has been sent out twice per year since 2012. On average 91% of exchange students that have visited Hanken would recommend it.
