Soon it will be time for this year’s International Alumni Day and we are gathering in London this year. This Alumni Day will be the 12th Alumni Day abroad and the 3rd one in London. Price and registration

The seminar day is free of charge. All participants pay for their own travel- and accommodations expenses. The dinner payment is 80 euros and will be held at Tom's Kitchen Chelsea. The dinner payment is upon registration through online payment and will not be refunded after 11 May.

Our speakers

Peter Sarlin

Peter Sarlin is the Executive Chairman and Chief Scientist of Silo.AI, leading the company’s AI platform initiative. Sarlin is also Professor of Practice at Hanken School of Economics in machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a special focus on applications in financial, economic, and societal disciplines. Sarlin is a research associate with London School of Economics, Halle Institute for Economic Research and University of Cape Town, and has previously worked for the ECB and IMF among others.

 

Richard Anson

Richard Anson advises high growth early stage businesses, consults to corporates on innovation, and teaches on entrepreneurship. He is Entrepreneur-In-Residence at True – providing thoughtful guidance to the portfolio companies and assisting with deal due diligence. He is NED of Reevoo, The Blogger Programme and Old Street Labs as well as a Senior Teaching Fellow at UCL's School of Management.
 
Richard founded and led Reevoo to become a leading user generated content platform to over 300 brands across the retail, travel, auto and financial service industries. Prior to founding Reevoo, Richard was a senior strategy consultant at KPMG covering the technology, media and telecoms space; interim Head of Group Planning at Orange, covering 22 countries; and part of the team managing investments of up to £5 million at 3i. He has a PhD from the University of Bristol and an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management.

Steve Naudé

Steve Naudé heads the Banking team for the Middle East and Africa at TransferWise, the Mavinternational money transfer platform. Here he works with banks, partners and regulators to build partnerships and expand the TransferWise experience into the region. TransferWise is a new kind of financial company for people and businesses that travel, live and work internationally.

 

Lauren Anderson

Lauren Anderson is Head of EU Withdrawal at the Bank of England leading on the Bank’s response to Brexit in the context of financial stability and prudential regulatory implications. Prior to this she was head of Resolution Execution in the Bank working on issues of crisis management and international policy responses aimed at ending Too Big to Fail, including the finalisation of the 2014 and 2015 ISDA Resolution Protocols. Before joining the Bank, Lauren Anderson was at the FDIC where she worked in the Chairman’s Office and Legal Department during the financial crisis. She worked directly on a number of failed bank cases, the drafting of the Dodd-Frank Act and was involved in a number of international working groups working on post-crisis reform. Lauren Anderson began her career at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in the Corporate Law Department. She holds a JD/MA from Tulane University Law School and an LLM from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom.
