Jane Ginsburg visiting teacher for IPR

Professor Jane C. Ginsburg is visiting Hanken 11-12.9 and lectures about international copyright as a part of the course Fundamentals of Intellectual Property I for the intellectual property law specialization in the Master’s programme.

Property Law at Columbia Law School, and faculty director of its Kernochan Center for Law, Media and the Arts. She teaches legal methods, copyright law, international copyright law, and trademarks law.

-This is my second visit to Hanken and I enjoy teaching here, says Jane Ginsburg. It will be a very intense couple of days here as we try to go through the basics of international copyright law in just two days.

Jane is the author of several books, articles, and book chapters about copyright and trademark law. She is also Vice President for the Association Littéraire et Artistique Internationale (ALAI) and President for ALAI-USA (http://alai.org). She is the daughter of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, one of the Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.
