Wireless Networks

As a student, faculty, staff or guest at Hanken you have access to wireless networks in both Helsinki and Vaasa. You need to login with your Hanken id to access the service.

Through the wireless networks you have access to the internet, e-mail and printing (by using eprint-service). However, to access some services such as Hanken file servers (network drives) you need to use VPN at the moment.

Eduroam for Students and Staff

Hanken has joined the global eduroam network. This means that you can connect to the wireless network eduroam at Hanken in both Helsinki and Vaasa. 
It also means that you, as a student or staff at Hanken, can use eduroam with your Hanken credentials all over the world where you find eduroam.

N.B. When connecting to eduroam you must give your username as username@hanken.fi. (e.g. s123456@hanken.fi)

Wireless Network for Guests

Hanken offers wireless network for guests both in Helsinki and Vaasa. 

  • Guests use the temporary Hanken account obtained by their hosts. 

Printing from Wireless Networks

Students and staff can print from the wireless networks at Hanken. Instructions can be found at https://eprint.hanken.fi.
