Application and selection process
Step 1: Application
In order to apply to the Hanken Executive MBA programme, you must submit a complete application to the Hanken Executive MBA office before the deadline.
You will receive an acknowledgement that your application and the references have been received by the Hanken Executive MBA office.
Step 2: Interview
If short-listed based on your application, you will be invited for a 45-minute interview. The interview will be held in English. You are required to bring your original degree certificates and transcripts to the interview. Please note that being selected for an interview does not guarantee admission to the programme.
Step 3: Admission decision
A careful selection of candidates is conducted by the EMBA office. The final admission decision is taken by the Dean of Executive Education at Hanken. All applicants will be informed of admittance or non-acceptance.
Step 4: Confirmation of participation
The selected applicants receive an offer of participation and a contract. A selected applicant confirms participation in the programme by returning the signed contract.
A complete application consists includes the following documents:
- a completed application form with your photo and signature (please download below)
- your CV in English
- copies of your degree certificates and transcripts (originals to be shown during the interview)
- two letters of recommendation completed and signed by the referees (please download below)
Please submit your application to the Hanken Executive MBA office.
For your application, you need references from 2 persons you know professionally. Please send the reference form below to your referees well in advance of the application deadline and ask them to send the completed and signed form directly to the Hanken Executive MBA office by post or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
