Hanken School of Economics is a widely recognised, triple-accredited university with more than 100 years of experience in business and management education. Our research is ranked 5th in the world by UMultirank. Our PhD students give a high grade for their studies at Hanken, and they have an excellent record of employment both in academia and business. Hanken is located in downtown Helsinki and Vaasa, Finland, where approximately 100 PhD students conduct their studies.

Hanken School of Economics is looking for highly motivated and talented graduates and experienced professionals to join the Hanken PhD Programme. As a PhD student with us you are employed for the first two years of your studies. We then support you in finding employment within research projects or securing external funding. There is no tuition fee for doctoral studies at Hanken.

The programme offers you:
