This elective course introduces doctoral students to current research in Information system science. There are no lectures. The literature is chosen, discussed and agreed upon with the teacher.

After completing the course, you will be able to: 

• analyse and synthesise core literature in Information system science
• identify relevant literature to define their research gap,
• define and argue for their research gap, and
• map core concepts and related concepts that are relevant to their research and doctoral dissertation.

Literature and Course Material:

A PhD student is allowed to take both this course and the Doctoral Literature course in Information System Science 2, but with different subject areas
