Alumni Challenge

Share page with AddThis
As of 14 December 2016 and six months onwards, a group of alumni will match all incoming donations from other alumni with 1:1, which will expand the state matching.

Your donation + Alumni matching + State matching Hanken's basic capital

During the campaign HANKEN RETURNS, the state matches incoming donations twith up to three euros for each donated euro. There is however an upper limit of 150 million euro in total payout to all the Finnish universities. This means that the coefficient of 1:3 will drop when the universities collectively have gathered over 50 million euro. As a result of the Alumi Challenge, Hanken is guaranteed an additional matching which will increase the matching promised by the state - in other words, your donation results in a triple effect!

The challenge requires no additional effort from you as an alumni. Your donation will automatically be matched through the alumni database at Hanken.

The participating alumni are:

Philip and Marina Aminoff, Henrik and Martina Andersin, Patrick Anderson, Henrica and Magnus Bargum, Peter Berner, Kurt Björklund, Riitta and Berndt Brunow, Alexander Ehrnrooth, Henrik Ehrnrooth, Johanna Hamro-Drotz and Ilkka Brotherus, Jannica Fagerholm and Patrik Hertsberg, Erik Hartwall, Ole and Eva Johansson, Barbara Hisinger-Jägerskiöld, Janne Larma, Mikael and Lena Lilius, Camilla and John Lindfors, the Pentti Family, Yvonne Potrykus, Ann and Carolus Rosenlew, Michael Rosenlew, Hannu Ryöppönen, Christoph Vitzthum, Björn Wahlroos, and Thomas Wahlroos.
