Courses and registration
Registration for the Spring 2021 courses opens on November 18th 2020, at 10:00 in Helsinki and Vaasa.
Autumn 2020 courses closes on October 15th 2020 evening in Helsinki and Vaasa.
How to register:
You find the Open University online registration service at the bottom of this page. Choose campus and course language from the dropboxes and click the course name of the course you want to register for; this will take you straight to the registration form. After your course registration you will receive an auto-reply email with useful information. If this email hasn't arrived, please check your spam box.
NOTE: In order to receive the Hanken-user ID which is essential for studying at Hanken, you will need to be able to either
1) identify through the self-service -portal which require login with Finnish e-bank -codes, or
2) be able to come in person to Hanken (Helsinki or Vaasa campus) and identify yourself with a valid passport.
Because of the economic situation caused by the pandemic, we want to offer everyone a chance to, without costs, take part of our Open University courses as far as there are places left. The free offer applies to individual courses given through the Open Uni in the Fall, August 1 to December 31, 2020 (excluding the so-called "Snabbledspaket", in Swedish only). The students still has to fulfill the pre-requisites.
Note: If you are a degree student registered as present at a Finnish university (other than Hanken), please register here: Registrationform. Please observe that you can only choose among the courses given through the Open University.

Please note! All open university courses are offered only on-line. However, many of the exams might need you to come physically to Hanken in Helsinki or Vaasa! How the exams will be conducted is decided by the lecturer. You find information on how the exam is conducted from the course description in the Webbodi study handbook.
When planning for your coming studies, make sure you choose the right campus and Academic year.To read full course descriptions click the code of the course (not the course name). You do not need to sign in to access the course information.
To be able to participate in a course that has pre-requisites, you will be asked to send copies of earlier study records and/or transcripts to firstname.lastname@example.org. Any pre-requisites are mentioned in the course description in WebOodi.
