Best master's thesis in humanitarian logistics

The board of the HUMLOG Institute has an annual award for best master's thesis in humanitarian logistics and supply chain management. Nominated master's theses need to fulfill the criterion of being a "research-based master's thesis with a good grade from a recognised university".

Nominations shall be done by the supervisor of the masters thesis and include the following:

  •  An extended abstract and/or executive summary in English
  •  A short reasoning why this masters thesis is exceptional and nominated for the award including the grade (if applicable) and an explanation of the grading system at the university in question.
  • A link to the masters thesis online and/or an electronic copy (scan). Paper permissions are permitted but need to reach the HUMLOG Institute by the deadline.
  • The contact details of the nominee (e-mail, address) and supervisor(s)

Best doctoral thesis in humanitarian logistics

The board of the Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain Research Institute (HUMLOG Institute) also has a bi-annual award for best doctoral (PhD) thesis in humanitarian logistics and supply chain management.

The HUMLOG Institute now calls for nominations for an award for best doctoral thesis in humanitarian logistics and supply chain management.

  • To qualify for the award, the doctoral thesis needs to have been finished and defended within the time frame of maximum of 5 years prior the nomination deadline. Nominations shall be done by the supervisor of the thesis and include the following:
  • An extended abstract and/or executive summary in English
  • A short reasoning why this thesis is exceptional and nominated for the award (if applicable, incl. the grade and an explanation of the grading system at the university in question)
  • A link to the doctoral thesis online and/or an electronic copy (scan). Paper permissions are permitted but need to reach the HUMLOG Institute by the deadline
  • E-mail addresses of nominees and supervisors
