Yes. Hanken email, along with Hanken's webpage, is the most important channel for information at Hanken.
Everyone (teachers, other students and even services like weboodi) assumes that you're reading your Hanken email.

2. Why doesn't sXXXXXX@hanken.fi work for students anymore?

Students use sXXXXXX@student.hanken.fi (or firstname.lastname@student.hanken.fi). A bug in our previous email system also accepted sXXXXXX@hanken.fi. In Office 365 however, this version is not possible.

3. Where can I find my Hanken email?

Everyone at Hanken has an Office 365 account. Your Hanken email is included in Office 365. Location: http://office365.hanken.fi.

4. What is the difference between username and email address?

Your username at Hanken is s+{your studentnumber} or s012345. This is the username you use when you login to computers and services at Hanken.
When using Office 365, however, your username have to look like "s012345@student.hanken.fi".
The email address is for the majority of students, firstname.lastname@student.hanken.fi.
For staff and doctoral students it works the same way, but with username@hanken.fi and firstnam.lastname@hanken.fi instead.

5. How can I read my Hanken email on my phone/tablet?

N.B. Staffmembers with Hanken phones or tablets get the email settings automatically to the phone or tablet.

Private phones/tablets:

6. Can I read my Hanken email in Microsoft Outlook or similar email client?
