The fellowship programme offers a 2- week to 6 months stay at the HUMLOG Institute, Hanken School of Economics to post-docs, professors, PhD candidates and Humanitarian practitioners. The aim of the fellowship is to provide a platform for mutual exchange of knowledge and for potential collaboration to produce high quality research in the field of humanitarian logistics.
The scholar will be provided with a desk and a computer in a shared office at the Institute. It is required that the scholar collaborates with other researchers at HUMLOG and shares the interest in humanitarian supply chain management or related for example development and crisis management disciplines. During the period of the stay, scholars are encouraged to author publications for academic outlets (e.g. Journal of Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain Management), to present their research in research seminars, and to actively participate in HUMLOG Institute activities.
The applicant can apply for a grant to cover the cost of the stay.

A good publication record is seen as an advantage. For some positions in the programme, preference is given to applicants from developing countries.
