Doctoral Colloquium in Marketing at Hanken 15.-16.8.2018

The Department of Marketing at Hanken will host the next Doctoral Colloquium in Marketing, financed by KATAJA, the Finnish Doctoral Programme in Business Studies. Please mark the event in your calendar!

Doctoral Colloquium in Marketing is an important national event for networking with doctoral students and faculty from all over Finland.

We welcome new and advanced doctoral students to send a paper on their doctoral dissertation for presentation at the colloquium. The papers will receive feedback from experienced researchers in marketing.

In addition to the interesting paper presentation and feedback sessions, we offer doctoral students the opportunity to receive individual career advice from experienced international and national researchers. You will be able to book a 25 minutes individual session on Career Advice & CV Check, which run parallel with some of the presentation sessions.

 

Deadlines

1.6.2018

Signing-up by sending in your paper of maximum 20 pages (line spacing 1,5, excluding references) that may be a prolonged research proposal, or a paper that will form one essay/article in your thesis. One page (at least) must present the relationship between the paper and your whole thesis. Only doctoral students that present a paper can take part in the colloquium. The paper is made available only to the tutors.

Accommodation

A limited number of (Smart, 1-person, 15-16.8.2018) rooms á 125 euro have been reserved at Hotel Helka, and can be booked with the signature MFT18 directly from the hotel. Reservations can be made until the limit has been reached, but no later than 30.6.2018. www.hotelhelka.com.
