Printing at Hanken

Multi-function copiers (printer, scanner and copier)

All printing, scanning and copying in Hanken is done on the multi-function copiers, ie. printer, scanner and copier in one unit. Both staff and students has the same system. The change was done in Helsinki in the summer 2011 and in Vaasa in April 2012. Ricoh Finland handles all responsibilities concerning Hanken's copiers.

Credits

As a student you need to buy printing credits to write at a Hanken printer.

The student union handles the printing administration at the bookstore IB and sells printer creedits. In Helsinki IB also provides papers for the printer. In Vaasa the custodian provides paper when needed.

A lost printing key

Every key is connected to one user via the Hanken user administration database AD. Although the key itself does not contain any money, it is the key to the printing credits.

If you loose your key, the person who finds it:

  • cannot print his own work with your credits - but he can see and print your documents at the printer.
  • can copy with your credits

Inform either

  • help@hanken.fi
  • IB or InfoBITen in Helsinki
  • Computer center in Vaasa

at once if your key is lost.

When you get a new key and activate it, the old key is deactivated.
