Teaching Swedish as a foreign language

The course Swedish as a Foreign Language is taught both at Hanken in Finland and also in the Baltic countries and in Poland. The course starts at an introductory level but foreign-language speaking students are soon able to converse about everyday life in their newly acquired language. After more time, the language becomes an important tool for those who want to study or develop business relations in the Nordic countries. In 2001 the course received the European honour European Label for its innovativeness. The course is being continuously developed and improved.
