Introductory seminar
Introductory seminar
The Centre for Research and International Affairs organises together with staff at Hanken an introductory seminar for newly admitted doctoral students. A two-day seminar is organised every year in August-September. A lighter one-day version of the seminar is also organised every year in January-February for doctoral students admitted in the autumn application round.
During the seminar doctoral students receive information concerning the general structure of doctoral studies, different course organisers, national and international networks, funding possibilities as well as the services provided by the library. The seminar in August-September is an opportunity for new doctoral students to get to know each other as well as representatives from the academic and administrative staff at Hanken.
The Centre for Research and International Affairs informs you about the seminar on the web pages, and per email.
Participants will be informed by e-mail and the programme will be published on these pages. Material from the seminar will be available at the meeting.
