During the last week several different spam and phishing attempts have been sent to Hanken mails - usually a warning that your webmail account will be closed if you do not give your id and password.

You NEVER need to give your id and password in this way for your Hanken account. (Probably never at any other organizations either.)

As the user id and password goes to many different services at Hanken, it is utmost important to never give out your userid and password!

When your password needs to change, you will get a warning to your HANKEN mail. Read it!

To change your password, you either login on a Hanken computer OR use the link under Tools on the Hanken homepage for Students/Staff. You never need to login to a page given to you by a link in an email.

If you give out your id and password your account will be closed - this is because we see spam messages sent out from your email account. Then the whole hanken-mail is blacklisted and we will all have problems with the e-mail. Important messages will not get through to other organisations. We are blacklisted until the spam mail is stopped and other servers have gotten the message about that.
