Student psychologist available at Hanken in Helsinki as of February
As a result of cooperation between Hanken School of Economics, the University of Helsinki and Arcada all three units can now offer joint study psychological services as of February.
Susanne Tiihonen has been hired as the single Swedish student psychologist at the universities as of January 2012. She will provide counselling in both Swedish and English for bachelor's and master's level students at Hanken in Helsinki.
She can be reached by booking a time in advance and her first day at Hanken will be February 16. The student psychologist will have her office on the second floor in the Office of Study Affairs and will mainly be on site at Hanken on Thursdays and Fridays. The student psychologist offers guidance for students who are in need of assistance on matters concerning study skills, motivation, time management, stress management and thesis writing. The guidance will be offered in groups and individually. Visits to the student psychologist are free of charge.
