Mål
The aim of the course is to create an understanding for the area of logistics. Logistics integrates the goals of an effective management of material and information flows towards, through and from an organisation. The course deals with central logistical concepts, activities, functions and trade-offs in different application areas. The objectives of the course are to; increase the understanding and knowledge of logistical concepts, discuss the implementation of these concepts in different areas of the organisation, and give insights to models used in logistics management.

Students need to have passed the course Introduktion till logistik och företagsgeografi (or equivalent). This course replaces Basic business logistics - students who have passed BBL are not admitted to this course.
