Nikodemus Solitander currently works as Assistant Professor (acting) in Supply Chain Management and Corporate Geography at Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki, Finland.
He acts as coordinator for Hanken's study module in Corporate Responsibility and has been heavily involved in the implementation of the Principles of Responsible Management Education at Hanken. He teaches in the areas of corporate responsibility, business ethics, and location studies and has a keen interest in pedagogical development and techniques.
He has also been working as program leader for various Hanken & SSE Executive Education programs.
Teaching
Teaching on masters and undergraduate level. Main areas of teaching: CSR, environmental management, business environment studies, corporate/economic geography, Latin American business, and design management.
Currently (2008-2009) I teach in the following courses: Corporate Sustainability; The Corporation and the Community; Theories and Research in Corporate Geography; and Service Logistics and Geographies

Research interests: sustainable development, Corporate Social Responsibility, creative industries, design management, globalization and its discontent, political ecology, industrial clusters, regional and urban development, airport cities, critical management studies
