Rosa is a researcher in Intellectual Property Law at Hanken. She was awarded her LL.M. degree in 2005 at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland) and her law degree in 2003 at the University of Brescia (Italy).

From 2007 to 2011 Rosa was a member of the INNOCENT Graduate School in IP law at the University of Helsinki (http://www.iprinfo.fi/page.php?page_id=203). During 2008-2009 she was a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley, Boalt Hall (California).

Rosa is currently working on the project "The Inner and Outer Limits of Patent Protection (PatLim)", a project financed by the Academy of Finland and conducted in collaboration between the Hanken School of Economics and the Helsinki Institute of Information Technology/HIIT.
