Mathias is writing a doctoral thesis on HRM in multinational organizations. Before joining Hanken he worked for KONE Corp. within Compensation & Benefits, Global HR. He is also involved in Hanken&SSE corporate development programs bridging research and practice.

Research Interest
Mathias research focuses on international HRM with a special interest in employee perceptions of and reactions to HRM practices as well as multilevel research methods and statistical techniques. Current ongoing research projects include:
