Research Interest
I am generally interested in entrepreneurship research topics: new venture creation and management of small firms. Within these areas there are interesting issues such as industry evolution, innovation, decision making (effectuation vs. causation) and finance that I find interesting.
My dissertation projects is about path dependence. The research model is built on the behavioural theory of the firm, the resource dependence theory and the organizational learning theory. Specifically there is the impact of managerial attitudes, resources and competences considered acknowledging that there are two path dependent (age and the presence in the communities of practise) effects present. These phenomena are demonstrated through panel data set of small and medium sized high technology companies
The working title of the dissertation is: " Path dependence in small and medium sized technology intensive company’s growth".
