Radisson Blu Royal Hotel

Hotel Helka

This hotel with its Finnish design of furniture, lightning and textiles supports Helka's reputation as a relaxed and easy going hotel in the city centre. All bedrooms are designed with all the facilities that you can expect from a modern 3 star Superior hotel and provide the guest with a relaxing and comfortable surrounding with traditional Finnish furniture by Alvar Aalto. The breakfast buffet is served at the hotel restaurant "Helka's kitchen".

Hostel Academica

Address: Hietaniemenkatu 14, 00100 Helsinki

The allotment booked is situated in the new part of the hostel. The rooms are equipped with private shower and bathroom, also a small kitchenette with a refrigerator. In part of the rooms there is a possibility for Internet access. Breakfast, morning sauna and swimming are included in the prices.

Booking schedule and room rates

Register early to secure accommodation of your choice. A number of rooms in 3 different categories have been booked since hotels in Helsinki may be crowded during the congress period.

The hotels are located close to the venue. All hotel reservations are made on "first come, first served" basis and are subject to availability.

Hotel deposit

Hotel bookings should be made through the online registration form. A hotel deposit of one night is to be paid in advance together with the registration fees. The deposit is deducted at check-out and is non-refundable if the cancellation is made after 25 April 2012. Cancellations or changes to reservations should be made by e-mail to the conference office.

General conditions

Reservations are completed promptly based on booking requests. Confirmation of rooms is included in the e-mail confirming the participation for the congress. No vouchers are needed. The congress secretariat will transfer the hotel deposits to each hotel.

Participants are requested to pay their personal expenses directly to the hotel at latest when checking out. Please indicate on the registration form if your arrival is scheduled after 18:00 so the conference office can inform the hotel. The regular check-out time is 12:00.
