Submission guidelines

Submissions for the workshop can be full papers or more briefly formulated research notes.

If you intend to submit a paper or research note, please prepare to submit an abstract/summary of max 100 words by January 15, 2009. Full papers are due by May 1. Submit all written material for the workshop by email to katja.peltola at hanken.fi.

The submitted pieces will be posted on this webpage no later than May 15 for download by the discussants and other interested participants.

The posted pieces will be protected by a password that will be sent to you separately by email.

Practicalities

Helsinki is a compact city and it is easy to get around by public transport or by foot. We will soon post hotel recommendations on this page. All the recommended hotels are located within a few minutes' walking distance of the workshop venue.

Dress code is informal throughout the workshop, however you may want to bring something a bit more dressy for the dinner on Thursday, June 11. The weather in Helsinki in early June is unpredictable - sun and day temperatures of +20°C [68°F] are equally common as +12°C [53,6°F], wind and rain. We advise you to consult a weather site just before the workshop and equip yourself accordingly.

Lodging

We have arranged a special deal for you with two hotels which are both situated in the centre of Helsinki. The deals apply for June 10-13, 2009 making it possible for you to come a day early or leave a day after the workshop, however you wish. Please note that you are supposed to make your own reservations and settle your own room bills at the hotel.
