Structure
1) Research Workshop: During the three day workshop the participants will have the opportunity to present their contributions and advancements within the field of interorganizational research. In line with the typical structure of the Nordic Workshop on Interorganizational Research, this conference will in the same ways as previously engage the participants in open and constructive discussions. Work-in-progress papers and research ideas are especially welcome, and both senior scholars as well as PhD students are welcome to present their papers and get feedback from the other participants.
The workshop is organized in paper sessions of two to three papers with a chair person welcoming the authors and visitors to each session and keeping track of time. The authors are allowed 15 minutes for presentations after which the appointed discussants will have 30 minutes to lead the discussion.
Please note that by submitting a paper you will be requested to prepare comments on 2 papers. The announcement of appointed papers will take place after the full paper submission deadline. In order to ensure all participants a thorough and expedient discussion the number of participants will be limited to 50 people. Participants are asked to bring their presentations in digital form and to upload the presentation in the break preceding their presentation. Projectors and computers will be available in all sessions.
2) Panel Debate: During the workshop the participants will also have the opportunity to attend an open session where they can discus and share interorganizational issues of a theoretical and managerial importance with members of the business community. Executives from a number of successful firms active within different industries in the region of Vaasa will be invited to share their insights on the themes of the workshop, as well as to interact with the participants through a panel debate.
