Programme Structure
Master's Programme in International Management and Strategy
The Master's Degree Programme in International Management and Strategy is a two-year (120 credits) full-time programme. Of the 120 credits, 90 are programme-bound, 24 are free electives, and 6 are in languages. The language of instruction is English. The programme includes one term at a foreign university/business school.

The programme consists of the following courses:
- International Management and Strategy 8 credits
- Global Business Environment 8 credits
- Strategic International Human Resource Management 8 credits
- Strategic Management 8 credits
- Research Methods 8 credits
- Research Seminar 12 credits
- Master's Thesis 30 credits
In addition to these obligatory courses, students choose one elective course of 8 credits, for example:
- Managing International Mergers and Acquisitions 8 credits
- Gender, Management and Organisation 8 credits
- E-Business 8 credits
- Multivariate Data Analysis 8 credits
- Project Management 8 credits
Students also complete free elective studies during their exchange period at one of Hanken's partner universities. In addition, students are required to complete 6 credits of language studies
