Welcome to the Department of Marketing
The department pursues internationally recognized research and teaching in two subjects; marketing and supply chain management and corporate geography.
We specialize in service and relationship marketing, which has been chosen to be one of Hanken's areas of expertise. We are pioneers within the subject both nationally and internationally. Studies in marketing at Hanken are management and customer oriented and are based on the latest research within the subject. We offer a wide selection of courses at basic, intermediate, and advanced level. Students can study marketing within the integrated bachelor's and master's program, the Master's Program in English, and pursue research studies within the PhD program. All researchers within marketing are associated with the knowledge center, Centre for Service Marketing and Relationship Management ( CERS), and actively participate in Hanken & SSE Executive Education, Hanken MBA, and the Finnish Center for Service and Relationship Management (FCSRM).
Supply chain management and corporate geography specializes in humanitarian logistics, corporate responsibility, international environment, culture, regions, logistics, and distribution. We offer a wide selection of courses at basic, intermediate, and advanced level. Students can study supply chain management and corporate geography within the integrated bachelor's and master's program, the Master's Program in English, and pursue research studies within the PhD program. The subject also coordinates with studies within corporate responsibility. Humanitarian logistics research is carried out within the knowledge center HUMLOG. Researchers within supply chain management and corporate geography actively participate in the Hanken & SSE Executive Education.
