Two-year Master's Degree Programmes
Hanken offers several specialised two-year Master's Degree Programmes with instruction in English both in Helsinki and in Vaasa.
In 2012 Hanken is admitting students to the following programmes:
- Master's Degree Programme in Corporate Governance (Helsinki)
- Master's Degree Programme in Economics (Helsinki)
- Master's Degree Programme in Financial Economics (Helsinki)
- Master's Degree Programme in Intellectual Property Law (Helsinki)
- Master's Degree Programme in International Management and Strategy (Helsinki)
- Master's Degree Programme in Marketing (Helsinki)
- Master's Degree Programme in Quantitative Finance (Vaasa)
The basic entrance requirement is a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university. In addition, the applicant must have a sufficient academic background in economic sciences and a high level of proficiency in English. All applicants must also take GMAT or GRE in order to be eligible for admission. This requirement is mandatory for both Finnish and foreign citizens regardless of where they have completed their previous degree(s). The only programme for which GMAT or GRE is optional is the Master's Degree Programme in Intellectual Property Law. The application period for admissions in 2012 opens on 16 January and closes on 1 March 2012. The application is done via University Admissions Finland. Please note that you can not apply online: you must send the signed printout as well as all the obligatory enclosures to University Admissions Finland, Yliopistonkatu 2, FI-00170 Helsinki, Finland.
