The centre is trying to find a better fit between scarce managerial talent and existing top management positions in our society - thereby increasing the aggregate welfare in our society.

The Nordic dimension of the research is evident but not crucial. Though existing similarities between the Nordic countries make them a fruitful testing ground for the impact of those differences in corporate governance practices that remain.
