Commercial Law
Welcome to Commercial Law
Commercial Law at Hanken has a practical and business-motivated orientation in its education and research activities at the Helsinki and Vaasa campuses. Our primary teaching role is to provide business law and taxation subjects to non-law Hanken students taking business degrees (both undergraduate and postgraduate) in accounting, economics, management and marketing. However, we also offer a comprehensive curriculum of our own BSc's & MSc's (plus postgraduate level studies) covering all relevant areas of Commercial Law. The Master's Degree Programme in Intellectual Property Law in Helsinki offers a popular English track.
Our primary areas of business law research include corporate finance and corporate governance law, tax law, employment law and international property rights law.
