Wallenberg Center for Financial Research
The purpose of the Wallenberg Center for Financial Research is to promote and conduct research and teaching within the area of Financial Economics, both in asset pricing and the function of financial markets, as well as in corporate finance. This goal can be achieved in a number of ways. It can be pursued
- by conducting research both individually as well as in research groups within areas such as Financial Economics, and by promoting and participating in the publication of scholarly research reports
- by arranging seminars and workshops
- by arranging management training courses and other further education within the area of Financial Economics
- by promoting the international exchange of scholars as well as through the organisation of joint research and teaching activities with departments and institutions active in research and teaching in Financial Economics; and
- by conducting advanced commissioned work on the basis of short or long term research contracts.
Wallenberg Center for Financial Research has a board with one director, acting as the chairman, and five other board members. The current board is comprised of: Professor Anders Löflund (chairman), Dr Kaj Hedvall, Professor Kenneth Högholm, Professor Johan Knif and Professor Timo Korkeamäki.

CEFA - Certified EFFAS Financial Analyst
The CEFA (Certified EFFAS Financial Analyst) programme offers in-depth information on capital markets and both national and international trends in the use of financial instruments. Modern financial theories and their applications in addition to the relevant legislation and the function of financial accounting data analyses are covered in the programme. The programme is organised in cooperation with the Finnish Society of Financial Analysts and follows the training and qualification standards set by the European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies ( EFFAS). It is therefore similar in each of the 19 member countries.
Upon completion of the course and following adequate practical experience as a financial analyst or portfolio manager, participants in the programme are awarded a European diploma, the CEFA Certificate, the national and the international token of a qualified analyst.

PROFIN - Professional Finance Program
Ohjelman tavoitteena on tarjota rahoituksen laaja-alaista, mutta myös syventävää koulutusta. Tavoitteena on että osallistujilla koulutuksen jälkeen on paremmat valmiudet ja tiedolliset perusteet toimia menestyksellisesti eri tyyppisissä rahoituksen osaamista edellyttävissä vaativissa työtehtävissä.
Ohjelma koostuu kahdeksasta kahden päivän moduulista (yhteensä 16 päivää). Modulit kattavat mm. seuraavat rahoituksen alueet: Investoinnin arvonmääritys, osakkeet, korkomarkkinat, johdannaiset, portfolioteoria, ja yritysrahoitus ja corporate governance. Ohjelman suorittaneille myönnetään Hanken Professional Finance Diplomi.
Hanken suunnittelee tuottavansa Profin H13-ohjelman vuonna 2012 mikäli riittävä (break even) osallistujamäärä saavutetaan. Ohjelman esite ja ilmoittautumislomake ovat ladattavissa alhaalla olevista lenkeistä.
