Hanken MBA selects a maximum number of 30 experienced and talented professionals, who wish to develop their management and strategic thinking skills alongside everyday work.

Selection is based on a combination of an individual’s work and educational background, leadership potential, interpersonal and cultural skills and motivation. Importance is attached on the individual’s willingness to learn from others in the MBA group and ability to share their own knowledge and experience. Employer and family support are also of significance. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential as the programme is conducted in English.

Requirements

Educational and professional achievement
The requirement is at least a college (Bachelor's) degree with at least five years of work experience. The average participant at Hanken MBA has 12 years of work experience and many hold a university (Master's) degree.

Leadership potential
Hanken MBA looks at a combination of responsibility and achievements, with evidence of appropriate attitude and set of skills enabling a successful career in management. Leadership qualities, flexibility and enthusiasm are taken into consideration.

Personal strengths
Hanken MBA looks at motivation, communication and interpersonal skills and also the willingness to learn.

International outlook
Importance is attached to your language and cross-cultural skills as evidence of an international outlook and cultural sensitivity. Languages are an essential prerequisite for an international management position.
