AMBA - an accreditation for MBA programmes

Thousands and thousands of MBA programmes are offered all over the world. However, only approximately 160 of these are accredited by AMBA. The accreditation is granted only the best programmes after rigorous examination. The programmes that are accredited have proven that they have attained a high international quality and meet the criteria set for the accreditation. During the accreditation process the university/business school that offers the programme, the faculty, the students and the curricula of the programme are all reviewed.

Hanken MBA - AMBA accredited since 2008

The Hanken MBA was awarded the AMBA accreditation in 2008. The accreditation was awarded for five year, which is the maximum length.

Hanken has during several years consistently worked on developing the MBA programme and its quality. The AMBA accreditation is acknowledgement of that work and a confirmation that the direction has been right. In its report

AMBA's International Accreditation Advisory Board (IAAB) commended Hanken for having several faculty members who are world leading scholars in their fields involved in the programme and for recruiting high quality students.

For Hanken the accrediation is proof that the research, tuition and corporate connections are of an internationally high standard. It also demonstrates that the Hanken MBA is up to par also on comparison with international competitors. The accreditation is also important for the students enrolled in the programme and those contemplating to make the invesetment in an MBA degree as it guarantees that the programme is of high quality.
