Jeff Hearn and Beata Segercrantz receive funding from the Academy of Finland
Professor Jeff Hearn and PhD Beata Segercrantz have been granted funding from the Academy of Finland.
Professor Hearns research project 'Age, Generation, and Changing Work-Life Balance and Boundaries: An Intersectional and Interactive Ethnographic Study' was granted a sum of 547 000 euros for the period 01.09.2012 - 31.08.2014.
PhD Beata Segercrantz was awarded a position as Postdoctoral Researcher for the period 01.09.2012 - 31.08.2015. Her research is titled 'Moments of transformation - Exploring undesirable consequences of ICT innovation in social and health services'.
The applications for funding were submitted to the Academy of Finland in September 2011. The Academy made its decisions in April-May 2012.
The next call for applications will be open in September 2012. The call announcement will be published during summer.
