In conjunction with its centenary celebration in 2009, Hanken School of Economics launched the three-year HANKEN 100 fundraising campaign with the aim to raise 10 million Euros. Thanks to the 2.5 million EUR donation made by the Erling-Persson Family Foundation, the campaign has now reached and exceeded its financial target. To date, Hanken has received donations for just over 11.1 million Euros.
The HANKEN 100 fundraising campaign raises funds to be used for further strengthening Hanken's position as an international business school. All donations have been made to Hanken's Centenary Endowment Fund and thereby qualify for the State's intended matching scheme.
