The Erling-Persson Family Foundation has donated 2.5 million Euros to the HANKEN 100 fundraising campaign and to Hanken's Centenary Endowment Fund. The donation is the largest yet made to the campaign. "The Erling-Persson Family Foundation wishes to support the high-quality education and research that Hanken stands for. Hanken is a highly interesting recruitment platform for business life", states the board of the foundation.

Rector Eva Liljeblom expresses Hanken's and her own gratitude. "It means a lot to us that the education Hanken offers is in this way appreciated outside the borders of our country. Hanken School of Economics will continue to focus on internationally competitive education and research", says Rector Liljeblom.

The Erling-Persson Family Foundation was founded through donations made in 1999, 2004 and 2010 by H&M Hennes & Mauritz Ab chairman Stefan Persson. The foundation supports scientific research, teaching and education as well as child care and up-bringing.

The HANKEN 100 fundraising campaign was launched in conjunction with Hanken's centenary celebration in 2009. The three-year campaign has aimed to raise 10 million Euros to be used for further strengthening Hanken's position as an international business school. To date, Hanken has received donations for just over 11.1 million Euros.
