The Board of EGOS (European Group for Organizational Studies) has re-elected Professor Eero Vaara as president of the Board for the mandate period 2010-2011. Earlier the members of the organisation renewed his mandate as member of the Board for 2010-2013.

EGOS has announced that Hanken jointly with Aalto University will host the 28th EGOS Colloquium in 2012. The conference will take place at Hanken in Helsinki during July 2-7, 2012.

Professor Vaara is Dean of Research and Professor of Management at Hanken, permanent visiting professor at EM Lyon, and Adjunct Professor at Copenhagen Business School.
