CREF - the Centre for Real Estate Investment and Finance is a network which aims to bring together professionals and academics in the field of real estate investment and finance and to ensure the continuance of high-quality education in the field in Finland.

CREF - General Info

The Centre for Real Estate Investment and Finance (CREF) is a network for investors, analysts and researchers in real estate financing and investing. The facilitator of the network is Hanken's Department of Finance and Statistics. In addition, the Finnish Association of Building Owners and Construction Clients RAKLI contributes to the activities of the centre.

Mission Statement

The mission of CREF is:

• To promote know how in the Finnish real estate industry as a centre for research in real estate finance and investment.
• To foster financial innovation in the field of real estate.
• To support education and research in the field of real estate business at large at Hanken and at other universities and research institutes.
• To develop the Finnish real estate finance and investment markets to be more efficient and internationally orientated.
• To enhance human-, institutional- and research cross border networking.
