Contents
The course gives an introduction and overview of entrepreneurial finance.
It also describes different strategies an entrepreneur can apply for obtaining funding.
Moreover, it looks into aspects such as the search for capital, valuation of investment opportunities, negotiating contracts, post-investment involvement, and exiting of an investment.
Learning Objectives
After having passed the course the students should be able to:
Perform basic valuations of venture capital investments
Know how the standard covenants in venture capital agreements work
Understand the key differences between professional venture capital, corporate venture capital and business angel funding
