RefWorks - an online research management, writing and collaboration tool

RefWorks is an online research management tool designed to help students and researchers to easily gather, manage and store references, as well as generate bibliographies. RefWorks is a useful tool when you have to handle a large number of references, i.e. for master students in connection to assignments and thesis writing, or doctoral students.
You will learn the basic functions of RefWorks:
• How to import references from databases into RefWorks
• How to manage your references
• How to generate a list of references to your essay or course
• How to use RefWorks from your home computer.


Writing workshop for the Master's thesis

Do you need help with the templates and the layout of your text for the master's thesis? Then join a drop in workshop where you will get help in using the template and forms for the Master´s thesis. You can also get help with functions in Word or Excel.

Information retrieval for the Master's thesis
Do you need an brush up of how to find useful sources of information in connection to your Master thesis? At the course will have Nelli as a starting point, repeating Nellis search functions. We will look at how to find databases in your main subject. You will get help in finding search words and using search methods. The search methods will be demonstrated in a couple of databases. The contents of the course can be adjusted ccording to the needs of the participants.
