4. Citation databases
In a citation database you for example get information about who has cited an article and how many times an author has been cited. You can also list all articles citing the same source.
At Hanken you have access to two citation databases (available through Nelli):
- Web of Science (ISI Web of Knowledge) which includes Arts & Humanities Citation Index, Social Sciences Citation Index, och Sciences Citation Index Expanded. Included journals are for example: European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Finance, Strategic Management Journal.
- Scopus produced by Elevier, includes journals such as International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, Human Resource Management Journal, Journal of Economics and Business, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money.
Journal assessments, such as Impact factors ( Web of Science) and SJR ( Scopus ) are made based on the amount of citations. Read more about Citation databases and Journal Assessment on the Bibliometrcs webpages.
